Summer night’s nymphs

Year 2011

This collection is a part of an entire blue period (sounds like Picasso’s, but it has no connection to him). Once I saw the photo of Brian Molko from Placebo all in black. I liked the way not the color but the texture of materials was an expressive method. Then, I noticed that dark-blue materials often seem chic and expensive, like in the collections of Karl Lagerfeld.  I combined two ideas and my collection received the 1^st price in the competition.  Unfortunately, there are only 4  girls on the photo, while I made 6 outfits and one more had not been finished.
