Art school diploma sketches
Year 2012
60x40
Materials: tracing paper, gel pen, foil, CD pieces

It is the second part of a day in early spring. You might think that evening is a long away when suddenly vibrant light of the cold orange-pink sun runs through the walls of the buildings, projecting its color onto the windows and bringing a huge amount of wintery cold fresh air. Few moments later, the sun-paint starts slightly fading to the ground and the bright blue sky reflects in the windows for some time…then it all disappears.
I like the philosophy of impressionism - trying to catch the moment that will never repeat again.

Art School graduation collection
Year 2012
Materials: foil, plastic, acryl colour, foil, cardboard, CD pieces, wire, armature net

The phenomena of light and color have always interested me. Through the reflection they can influence each other and the spectators’ feelings.
Reflection, sheen and glitter have comprised a basis of my final collection in the art school. From a number of catwalks and photo shoots, made during the project, the most successful was the one with a smoke machine and booster lighting as it has accurately portrayed glittery details.

Summer night’s nymphs
Year 2011
This collection is a part of an entire blue period (sounds like Picasso’s, but it has no connection to him). Once I saw the photo of Brian Molko from Placebo all in black. I liked the way not the color but the texture of materials was an expressive method. Then, I noticed that dark-blue materials often seem chic and expensive, like in the collections of Karl Lagerfeld.  I combined two ideas and my collection received the 1st price in the competition.  Unfortunately, there are only 4  girls on the photo, while I made 6 outfits and one more had not been finished.
